RENAISSANCE CENTER
for Culture and Education
OUR PROGRAMS
Renaissance Center takes a holistic approach to meeting the special needs of homeless families with young children and has developed a comprehensive program to include educational, therapeutic and health and family support services. Research repeatedly indicates that children living in homeless environments experience increased health problems, developmental delays, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems and lower educational achievement. Renaissance Center understands the complex needs of our children and supports them to reach important developmental milestones and prepare for kindergarten. At the same time, Renaissance Center supports parents to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency and end their homelessness. Learn about the different support services that make up our programs below.
