YOUTH MENTORING & LEADERSHIP (13 yrs -18yrs):
Renaissance motivates young people to become leaders in their communities by promoting diversity, respect, and enhancing confidence, self-worth and academic potential, and by providing leadership skills. Our mentoring programs is designed to facilitate networking and mentoring amongst business owners, returning citizens.
WRITE YOUR LIFE STORIES:
Tuesday, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Have you ever thought about writing down your unique, personal stories of your life? Would you like to pass them down to relatives so that they have a collection of your life experiences? Would you also like to enjoy writing for reminiscing and remembering the highlights of life?
Each week we will begin with a few brief writing warm up activities and conversation about different memories. In this supportive, fun, relaxed atmosphere, we will practice writing down our life stories and learn various techniques along the way to enhance your work.
This course is for beginner writers, the curious, those who have dreamed about writing their life stories and for those who have already started. Just bring a pen and a notebook and write your life story!
Join a group of avid readers on the first Wednesday of every month to discuss our latest read. Discussions will be moderated in the Public Library.
Books are available at the front office of the Centre.

Bonjour! This program gives individuals who know how to speak French, a chance to practice and improve their abilities. This group of men and women have an enjoyable afternoon conversing about daily events etc. using the French language, led by a knowledgeable and encouraging instructor.
Registration is required to participate in this program.
